Dr. Bhakti Murkey feels that we should not let the judgments of others define us. She is an expert in women mental health and child psychiatry, because according to her childhood forms the building blocks of our whole adult life. She strongly believes that women’s mental health problems are a serious issues which not only affect the woman herself, but also her family and children – which could cause a ripple effect. She particularly works with adults on life-transitional crises such as separation, divorce and remarriage. She works with her patients in non-judgmental listening and feedback manner to identify their inner strengths so that they can learn more successful coping skills. She is able to converse in diverse languages including Hindi, English and Marathi, and is very approachable.
